The Importance of Education

I know that I've been gone for a long time.  My life, to say the least, was ridiculously busy.  But then I saw this photo today and I had to blog about it.

Take a careful look at it.

I am almost ashamed to admit that this came from South Bend, IN (my home state).  I mean, come'on people... an "L" is an important letter in this case.

Can we really celebrate education when we can't spell?  Should we tout out achievements if we don't have the sense to proofread?  This is better than when IN printed signs for the highway that said "No Name Creek" because the creek had no name. Did we really have to spend money on that.

Anyway, I'm back and I'm revved up.
